Registration for students in 2017-2018 grades Kindergarten through twelfth grade occurs through an on-line registration process. If you do not have access to a computer please visit the Cromwell Public Schools Central Office or contact Lisa Hicks at 860-632-6046 for assistance.

Cromwell School Readiness/Early Childhood Council

The Cromwell School Readiness Council was established in 2008, funded by a grant from the Middlesex United Way's Early Identification/ Intervention Children Birth to Five Initiative. Its goal is to Increase Children's Readiness to learn by School Entry. For more information click HERE

Proof of Residence (use one of the following three choices)

a. Deed to home or dated rental agreement in parent/guardian’s name or student’s name;
b. Escrow papers or signed mortgage commitment in parent/guardian’s or student’s name; or
c. Notarized letter from Landlord or owner acknowledging parent/guardian’s and/or student’s residence.

Please follow the steps below to register a new student in one of the Cromwell Public Schools.

If your student is a Cromwell resident, he/she must be registered with our school system, even if he/she plans to enroll at a regional Magnet school, Technical or Vo-Ag school.

Step 1. Complete the Online New Student Registration process.

You will create a new account first. Save your login information in case you need to return to this site.

Please note, your registration is not complete until you have completed all steps and are approved by the Cromwell Public Schools Superintendent.

Step 2. Click Here to start the 2016-2017 online application process.

Step 3. Schedule a visit at our Board of Education Offices.

At the completion of your online pre-registration, you will be prompted to schedule a brief session at our Central Offices located at 9 Captain James Mann Memorial Drive, Cromwell, CT 06416, 860 632-6046. You will need to bring several required forms with you for this meeting. These are listed in the checklist below. Please continue with the registration process even if the health form is not yet complete.

Step 4. Review Checklist for Registration Appointment

Submit the health form as soon as possible, as the health record must be on file prior to the student's first day of school; but do not delay the registration process while waiting to complete the physical exam.
